January 23 SouthWest Dreams Gallery`The Great SouthWest`
Hello, I am `Ken. SouthWest Dreams Gallery is the `second site I created. Like all my sites, I try to present a place of peace, a `sanctuary for all who visit. Most photos were taken close to my residence (Saint George, Utah). The `Grand Canyon `North Rim photos were taken in `Arizona, about 140 miles from `Saint George. What is amazing is to see how many visitors we have from outside the country, who travel thousands of miles to see what to me, is practically in my own backyard. While photographing the `Grand Canyon, I met some folks, one couple from `Australia and a gal from `Maine. When asked where I was from, the Australian asked, I told her `Saint George. She asked, well, where is that? And I replied `oh about 140 miles Northwest of here. She replied with, `So you`ll be home for dinner? Yes, I replied. I feel very fortunate to be living so close to these `Spectacular `National Treasures as I do. I do enjoy sharing my `little ventures` with all of you. March 24 SouthWest Dreams Gallery |
